Job Description

The GA Strength and Conditioning (S&C) Coach is a part-time position responsible for assisting with all phases of an NCAA Division II (S&C) program including player training and development and other duties as assigned by the Head (S&C) Coach. The position will begin in August 2026 and includes tuition remission, meal plan, on-campus housing, and a $3,200 stipend.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Ability to assist in developing and implementing a comprehensive (S&C) program tailored to each sport.
  • Provide hands-on instruction and supervision during training sessions to ensure proper technique and safety.
  • Assist in the maintenance of and upkeep of equipment and facilities to ensure a safe and functional training environment.
  • Stay up to date on latest trends and best practices in (S&C).
  • Provide support during team practices, games, and competitions including pre-game warmups, injury prevention strategies, and post-game recovery protocols.
  • Organized and responsible for all clerical duties as assigned in a timely manner.
  • Build and sustain positive relationships with student-athletes, coaches, faculty, staff, and the campus community.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by the Head (S&C) Coach and Athletic Department.

Qualifications:
● A bachelor’s degree is required.
● Applicants must obtain acceptance in a WV Wesleyan College graduate program.
