Student Employment - Athletics Marketing Intern

Duties and Responsibilities: Paid student position providing support to the Carroll College Athletic Department marketing operations.Must be available to work a minimum of 10 hours per week within the Athletic Office (weekdays, 9:00am to 5:00pm) and at home football and work at basketball games. • Using Adobe Office suite, create print and digital materials for event promotions, event information, and sponsorship engagement.
• Assist with development and implementation of in-game promotions for football, basketball, soccer, volleyball, and softball.
• Assist with the implementation of in-game sponsorship activation (reads, video boards, music, and timeout-coordination) with the Athletic Game Operations Intern.
• Assist in the development and implementation of game-day special events that support the mission of increased ticket sales.
• Support the Director of Business Development in creating innovative sponsor promotions to enhance the fan experience.
• Using social media platforms and the Carroll Athletics web site, promote Carroll College Athletic events and promotions.

Qualifications: Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and Social Media platforms for marketing and promotional applications.

Employment Specifications: Work-Study preferred, but not required

Approximate Hours/Week: 10 hours per week

Special Time/Schedule Requirements: Must be able to work evening and weekends at home athletic events.

Length of Employment: Academic Year

Wage Rate: $12.00/hour
