Job Summary

The Purdue University Baseball Student Manager Program allows Purdue students to gain experience working for a Division 1 Big 10 baseball program. Managers are tasked with a wide range of responsibilities that are critical to the success and progress of the baseball program. They will work in conjunction with the Purdue Baseball Coaches to enhance both the experience and development of the Purdue Baseball Players. All departments play a significant role in helping the program become Omaha bound. Below, you will find more information on the current positions we are trying to fill.

Basic Skills/Qualifications Recommended: • General baseball knowledge and a love for the game itself. • Ability to interact and communicate well with players, coaches, and other managers. • Thrive in fast-paced environments and manage time/multi-task well. • Willingness to learn and consistently improve.

Operations Assistant Manager: • Work directly under the Director of Baseball Operations. • Fluid position that encompasses all aspects of the Purdue Baseball Program. • Work with Purdue social media team to take pictures and help run the accounts.

Responsibilities: • Be able to enter data into Microsoft Excel, Jump Forward, etc. • Assist with Team Travel • Be able to use Teamworks. • Confidently run Purdue Baseball Social Media, when asked upon. • Photography, video editing (Lightroom/CapCut), Pre/Post Game Meal Setup.

Student Manager Schedule *All scheduling based on manager availability* Fall Practice (Off-season) Spring Practice (In-season) Game Day • 4-5 days per week • Weekdays • Home Game Weekends
