Job Responsibilities

• Some basketball knowledge is a plus, but not required.
• Attend practices, arriving approximately 30 minutes early to assist with practice setup, drills, and operating the scoreboard or shot clock.
• Assist with game day setup, game management, and postgame cleanup.
• Help organize and maintain basketball equipment, practice supplies, uniforms, towels, and team laundry.
• Operate basketball and facility equipment, including the scoreboard, shot clock, lights, and laundry equipment.
• Assist coaches with recruiting materials, basketball operations, and photography, video, and social media content.
• Help with youth camps, clinics, special events, and occasional team travel.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the coaching staff.

Requirements

• Interest in basketball or collegiate athletics and a willingness to learn.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel, with a willingness to learn basketball software such as Hudl and Synergy.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work well with others.
• Positive attitude and willingness to take on new projects.

Time Commitment

• Attend scheduled practices, home games, and other team events throughout the academic year.
• Arrive approximately 30 minutes before practices to assist with setup and remain afterward as needed.
• Evening and weekend availability is required during the basketball season.
• Weekly hours will vary based on the team's practice, competition, travel, and event schedule.
