Job Summary
The Athletic Communications Student Assistant will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day and gameday operations for home events. This position is defined as a non-exempt position under
FLSA
regulations.

Experience
No experience required.
MUST
be available to work nights and weekends. Work in all weather conditions. Versatility and flexibility as games and staffing can change due to weather and other unforeseen circumstances.

Additional Requirements
Previous experience working in sports/athletic field.
Knowledge and experience in a specific field (production, sport statistics, photography, graphic design, announcing, writing, social media, etc.)
Basic knowledge of how to use common software titles including: Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Suite
Certain positions will require working office hours under normal business hours.
This position is about 10 hours per week at $7.25 per hour.
Physical Demand
Position requires the ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
Position requires the ability to move about the campus.
Position requires the ability to talk and to hear instruction.
Position requires occasional manual dexterity and the ability to use fingers, hands, and arms to feel, handle, and reach.
