Job Description:
Position: Athletics Gameday Management Staff (Communications)
Revision Date: 7/17, 8/22
Reports to: Director of Athletic Communications
Department: Athletics
Salary Grade: Tier I
FSLA Status: Non-exempt
Location of Position: Merritt Fitness Center, McDaniel College, 2 College Hill, Westminster, MD 21157
Duration of Appointment: Academic School Year
Scope: Provide support for athletic events, including opportunities as Public Address Announcers, Official Scorers, Statisticians, Clock and Scoreboard Operators as well as office support related to events.
Responsibilities:
Serve in various capacities to ensure proper operation of intercollegiate athletic contests:
Provide support in office for athletic contests pre- and post-event:
Assist with historical research and compilation of archives in digital form
Assist with preparation for each sport season
Other duties as assigned
