Internal Operations
Assists the Athletics Department with office work, game management and concession stands.
Performs basic office duties such as filing and processing paperwork, answering the phones, scheduling travel for teams and coaches. Assists in game management duties and completing game management timesheets. Assists at all scheduled home events, around practice and school schedule. Assists in pregame set-up, post-game clean-up, concession stand, ball shagging, clothing and apparel sales, ball handlers, scoreboards and video for the teams. Concessions: Ordering and organizing the concession stand and manages concessions for all home events. Assists visitors in the Admissions Office in a professional and friendly manner. Performs work in a timely manner and meets all deadlines. Maintains all information confidential. Provides a broad range of administrative functions. Maintains comprehensive communication among all contacts (internal and external). Models professional standards and ethics in accordance with WNMU philosophy. Performs other duties as assigned.
Current WNMU student.
Excellent customer service and communication skills. Skill in general office duties and office equipment to include telephones, copier, Fax, and computer/computer programs. Must be knowledgeable of University policies and procedures. Must be able to handle multiple deadlines and maintain accuracy. Must be sensitive to cultural differences within the University and community. Fluent in Microsoft Office Applications.
Normal office environment. May be required to lift normal office equipment and materials. Visual acuity to read information from computer screens, forms and other printed materials and information. Able to speak (enunciate) clearly in conversation and general communication. Hearing ability for verbal communication/ conversation/responses via telephone, telephone systems, and face-to-face interactions. Manual dexterity for typing, writing, standing, and reaching, flexibility, body movement for bending, crouching, walking, kneeling and prolonged sitting.
