Job Description:

Position: Varsity Athletics Team Manager, Men's Lacrosse

Revision Dates: 09/2022

Reports to: Head Men's Lacrosse Coach

Department: Athletics

Salary Grade: Maryland Minimum Wage

FSLA Status: Non-exempt

Location of Position: Gill Center,2 College Hill, McDaniel College, Westminster, MD, 21157

Duration of Appointment: 8/7/2024-5/21/2025

Schedule: Schedule is at discretion of supervisor

Evalution Procedures: Student workers are evaluated on a continuing basis

Scope: Providesupport forassigned Varsity teamduring practices, games and events.

Responsibilities:

• Attend practice and assist coaches with any items necessary
• Run the clock during practices
• Assist with equipment hand out
• Travel to away contests
• Keepscorebook during games
• Assist with Social Medias

Schedule:

• 20 hours max a week,must have availability from 4-7 or 8-11 depending on schedule, must be available on weekends
• Must be able to attend away contests

Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Current student at McDaniel with work study
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Knowledge of the rules ofassigned sport
• Discretion and reliability in sensitive and confidential matters are vital

Physical Characteristics:

This position requires some physical activity.Thisposition does have somelifting involved but not morethan 30 pounds at a time. The overall setting of the job is inthe gymnasium.
