Job Summary
Student Athletic Training Assistant will assist in field set-up, rehabilitation, administrative duties and coordination of sports medicine coverage. They will also have direct patient care as a training room therapy aide. This is a temporary, non-benefit eligible, non-exempt position as defined by
FLSA
standards.
Specific Responsibilities
· Assist Athletic Trainers with day-to-day needs
· Take 50-80 pound gallons of water to fields
· Help with field setup for games and practices

Additional Requirements
· This position is paid $8.50 per hour approximately 15 hours per week during academic year.
· Sunday through Saturday from 10 am to 9:00pm
· Must have valid driver’s license
Physical Demand
· Position requires the ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
· Position requires the ability to move about the campus.
· Position requires the ability to talk and to hear instructions.
· Position requires occasional manual dexterity and the ability to use fingers, hands, and arms to feel, handle, and reach.
· Position requires occasional stooping, crouching, and bending.
· Position requires the ability to occasionally lift up to 80 pounds.
