Position Description

Advertised Job Summary

Reports to the Associate Athletics Director for Video Services, serves as Technical Director/Director during live events for USC Athletics Department Of Live Productions. Maintains professionalism and production values while executing athletic event productions for Football, Soccer, Volleyball, Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Softball and Baseball. Prepares control rooms and content for productions. Train staff, freelancers and students on control room systems.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 2 or more years of experience in broadcast or digital media productions., which may be substituted by equivalent combination of relevant certification, training, education, and/or experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Working knowledge of Grass Valley Switchers, Ross Xpression, Evertz Dreamcatcher systems, MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite software. Understand the importance of accuracy of on-air content while working with staff, students and freelancers to create professional productions.Knowledge of video production equipment associated with live production is required. Strong leadership skills and exceptional communication are essential. Team-oriented attitude and dedication to quality.
