The Assistant Coach assists the Head Coach in providing leadership for a
NCAA
Division I men’s soccer program. Assists with all aspects of the men’s soccer program and is integral to the day-to-day administrative responsibilities, daily team training, evaluation and recruitment of student-athletes, academic monitoring, and skill development. This position must work within

guidelines to provide student-athletes an exceptional collegiate experience while competing for championships.
Works with the goalkeepers to teach the mental and physical aspects of the game.
Assist goalkeepers with skill development and implement team strategies
Adhere to and enforce all policies and procedures of the department and university as well as the rules and regulations of the
CAA
and
NCAA
Other duties as assigned
• High school diploma or equivalency
• Must be highly dependable, flexible, and available to work evenings and weekends
• Possess excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with the public
• Strong problem solving skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time both indoors and outdoors
• Work effectively as a team member
• Previous customer service experience preferred

Please note, this is a temporary position. The length of the assignment will be based on department need with the possibility of continuation. Temporary assignments cannot exceed 11 consecutive months without a full 31-day break from employment.
