The Williams College Men’s Soccer team is searching for an energetic and organized temporary Assistant Coach to join our program for Fall 2026! We're looking for someone with a strong competitive background who excels at building relationships and is eager to contribute to all aspects of our program, from on-the-field technique to recruiting.
We are now accepting applications for the temporary position of Assistant Coach of Men’s Soccer. This is a 40 hour per week, 20-week job with a full meal plan and is eligible for all legally mandated benefits, including Massachusetts paid sick leave and paid family and medical leave. The anticipated employment dates are August 2, 2026 through December 19, 2026.
Williams is a Division III institution and a member of the New England Small College Athletics Conference (NESCAC). The Williams Men’s Soccer team reached the NCAA round of 16 three times in the last four years, national runner up in 2022, and finished in the top 10 three out of four years. Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required
Minimum 1 year of coaching experience required, additional experience preferred; significant college playing experience may substitute for 1 year coaching requirement
Collegiate soccer playing experience preferred
Knowledge of NESCAC and NCAA Division III policies and ability to abide by these
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively required
Valid Driver’s license. Successful completion of Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check is also a condition of employment in order to be able to drive college vehicles and/or transport students.
Application review will begin on May 18, 2026, and will continue until the position is filled. This job is scheduled to begin August 2, 2026. Pay for this job is $1,700.00 biweekly and includes a full meal plan and is eligible for all legally mandated benefits, including Massachusetts paid sick leave and paid family and medical leave.
