The Temporary Assistant Manager for the Bowling Center’s primary responsibility is to manage the bowling Physical Education program while academic classes are in session. Duties for the PE classes include Canvas preparation, communication with students, lesson plan preparation, teaching classes, and evaluation and grading according to the PE Department policies. The individual will also assist with managing the bowling center on evenings and weekends throughout the year. Duties for managing the bowling center will include supervising student and part-time staff, tending the bar, overseeing play on the lanes, and performing lane maintenance and minor repairs on machines. This person must be able to manage the bowling center for short terms in the manager’s absence and make sound judgments as to bowling center policies and procedures.
