• Assist at Summer Orientation Advisement and Registration
• Review Student Athlete Schedules and assist as needed with outreach to athletes
• Assist in communicating with coaches regarding athletes schedules and questions
• Interact with and connect student-athletes to key campus resources including advisor/success coaches and faculty
• Collaborate with Student Success Coaching staff on curriculum and course outcomes for 77-150 and 151 with student athletes in mind
• Complete and distribute athlete grade checks
• Meet with prospective student-athletes and families
• Assist the Assistant Director of Academic Support with academic support programs as needed including training staff, observing, certifying programs, etc.
• Attend and participate in Academic Success & Retention unit meetings and collaborate with team members to meet unit goals.
• Perform administrative tasks and other duties as assigned related to academic success and retention.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Experience: Experience working in academic, student services, or related field.
Skills: Excellent communications skills (written, oral, and interpersonal with an emphasis in relating to student needs), exceptional interpersonal skills; collaboration; learning strategies, planning and time management skills; strong problem analysis and resolution skills

WORKING CONDITIONS: This position will work in an office environment, scheduling for the summer is based upon the needs of the department.

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
