Lesley University is seeking a Temporary Head Baseball Coach to join our organization. Under the supervision of the Director of Athletics, the Temporary Head Baseball Coach at Lesley University will lead the operations, management, coaching and cultivation of a competitive and successful Division III program while fostering an environment that contributes towards a positive student-athlete experience.

The Temporary Head Baseball Coach will lead the planning, management, and coordination of all aspects of the Baseball program, including the oversite and hiring of Assistant Coaches. Responsibilities include organizing practices, supporting all relevant recruitment and fundraising activities, and overseeing the academic success of student-athletes. They will maintain proper and appropriate discipline among students during athletic contests, practice sessions, and while off campus

The Temporary Head Baseball Coach must comply with all policies established by federal and state laws, Lesley University, North Atlantic Conference (NAC) and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA Division III) policies and procedures. Lesley University is an NCAA Division III institution and a member of the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) with 14 varsity programs and a competitive Esports Program, serving over 150 student-athletes.

Qualities and Capabilities

A successful candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s degree (required)

• Baseball experience (preferred)

• Current CPR / AED certifications must be obtained upon hiring.

• Driver’s License required.
