Part-Time
Reporting to the Director of Ticket Sales and Operations, the Ticket Sales Representative is a member of the Athletic Department’s fan engagement and strategic partnerships team. This position is responsible for generating revenue through ticket sales and promotions. This position requires working nights, weekends and occasionally holidays to attend appropriate athletic events.
Candidates must be willing and able to organize and handle all aspects of administration and adhere to the rules and regulations of Hofstra University, the Colonial Athletic Association, and the
NCAA
. If found responsible for a violation of
NCAA
regulations, will be subject to disciplinary or corrective action, including termination if appropriate. Also, may be responsible for any act or omission that may give rise to a finding that the University has violated an
NCAA
regulation.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Develops and implements comprehensive ticketing sales, service, and retention strategies including outreach initiatives to drive revenue and attendance.
Responsible for the execution of ticket sales efforts for season sales, premium area sales, group ticket sales, and single game ticket sales.
Collaborates with on-campus partners to sell tickets to numerous audiences.
Works with off campus partners, including community groups, non-profit organizations, businesses, and youth organizations, to drive attendance and revenue by selling tickets and promotions.
Assists with the coordination of special ticket promotional events.
Assists in aspects of ticket operations.
Must comply with policies and procedures set forth by Hofstra University, the Colonial Athletic Association, and the
NCAA
.
Performs other related duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.
Bachelor’s degree required.
0-2 years of related experience.
Revenue generation experience, in college athletics preferred.
Experience in sales, marketing and/or ticket sales.

_Hofstra University provides the above salary* as a good faith estimate of the starting pay range which considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience and education.
