This position is responsible for controlling entry to our ticketed athletics events, other athletic events, and special events by scanning/ taking tickets, checking passes, swiping and verifying student ID’s.
This position also is responsible for maintaining a general understanding of the facility in order to answer general patron questions and direct them to their seats.
This position may also be utilized to sell tickets or work pass lists and will call windows at the box office for ticketed athletics events and special events.
• Work schedule includes frequent evenings and weekends.
• Must meet physical requirements for the job.
• Position is subject to availability of funds.
• All hourly employees are subject to the limitations of the Virginia Manpower Control Program and total hours worked may not exceed, on average, 29 hours per week, over the course of a twelve month period beginning May 1 each year.
• This is a non-exempt position, which may be eligible to receive overtime in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act.
