As the Ticketing Operations & System Associate, you'll be the face of Cornell Athletics Ticketing. Your responsibilities include overseeing ticket sales, managing events for seven varsity sports, and supervising the Temporary Athletics Ticketing and Game Day Staff. Additionally, you'll play a crucial role in system management for the golf course operation.

Core work hours for the Ticketing Operations & System Associate include daytime coverage of the Ticket Office Tuesdays through Fridays, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with the rest of your full-time hours fulfilled through your presence at Cornell Athletics events scheduled primarily on evenings and weekends. During times with limited home-hosted contests, full-time hours are more standard (Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm) with a much greater focus on administrative tasks and strategic planning.

What You’ll do as our Ticketing Operations & System Associate

Game Day and Ticketing Operations (40%):

• Supervise game day ushers and temporary staff.
• Oversight of ticket sales and operational implementation for seven varsity sports.
• Serve as game-day ticket manager for various athletic events.

Golf Course Membership and System Support (30%):

• Assist with the management of the tee time reservation system.
• Coordinate logistics for league nights and community events.
• Support Assistant AD for Fan Engagement with coordinating season ticket memberships.

Financial Support (15%):

• Responsible for end-of-day financial reporting for game day events.
• Process payments, purchase office apparel and equipment.

Facility Scheduling for Coach Owned Camps (10%):

• Implement and facilitate submission request forms for coach-owned camps.
• Assist with collecting contract requirements.

Other Position-Related Responsibilities (5%):

• Participate in projects and perform other duties as requested.
• Conduct business according to NCAA, Ivy League, and University policies.

• Comprehensive in your understanding of various technological systems and their architecture, components, and interactions to make informed decisions and identify potential improvements.
• Customer service-oriented and take initiative to “wear many hats” to get the job done.

What We Need

• Associates degree and 2 to 4 years relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High level of competency and prior experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Etc.) and CRM/Ticketing systems.
• Prior experience scheduling and coordinating temporary or student staff.
• Prior experience with athletic ticketing system software.
• Become CPR/First Aid certified within 6 months of start date.

• Experience in and/or demonstrated commitment to supporting diversity, equity, access, inclusion, and wellbeing.

• Ability to serve as an advocate for individuals of all ethnicities, genders, ages, and backgrounds.

• Event-planning experience.
• CPR/First Aid certified.
• High level of competency and prior experience using Adobe Creative Suite.
• Knowledge and understanding of Ivy League and NCAA rules and regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree.
