Summary:

Assistant Coach’s primary responsibility is to assist/provide support to the Track and Field Head Coach with the development and implementation of an exemplary athletic program that will effectively provide the best possible education for each student-athlete.

 

Job Description:

Qualifications: 

● Coaching experience – preferred (significant playing experience may be considered) 

● Knowledge & Experience in Track and Field 

● Knowledge and Understanding of Middle School Aged Students 

● Fluency in American Sign Language required

● KDES Track and Field Season: February 19, 2024 – May 31, 2024 

● Required Orientation Training: dates to be announced 

● All employees hired must undergo and pay for a background investigation if selected for the job and must be cleared before starting first day on the job. Current fee for the investigation is $35.50 and fee can be higher if you are from out-of-state. 

● Reports from Background Check and Gallaudet Conduct & Security Office must be in a good standing 

● Compensation: $17.50 per hour
