Job Description

The University Counsel will provide legal counsel and support to a range of University units and divisions. The position will support senior University attorneys in the handling of significant legal matters, with a particular focus on the following: Supporting the Executive Associate General Counsel in providing legal counsel to the Department of Athletics, including on employment contracts, NCAA compliance matters,commercial transactions, policy guidance and development, risk mitigation, and strategic priorities. Supporting the Senior Associate General Counsel on legal matters involving commercialization of University intellectual property and related issues, including licensing transactions, business transactions, and advising on University equity in commercial ventures.

Minimum Qualifications

J.D. degree and active license to practice law in a least one U.S. state 1-2 years experience in the practice of law
