Bachelor’s Degree or advanced degree and Coaching Certification preferred but not required. Previous pitching coach experience at the high school, advanced club or higher levels is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a strong record of coaching experience (knowledge of contemporary pitching mechanics/philosophies) coupled with a commitment to the ideals of a Catholic, Jesuit Secondary Education.

Demonstrate strong teaching, leadership and organizational qualities within a competitive and comprehensive interscholastic baseball program
Foster a team environment that supports a strong work ethic and the appropriate behavior and sportsmanship of all participants
Exhibit great passion for baseball and the high school athletics experience
Effectively and positively communicate with student-athletes, administration, parents and coaches
Be available for practices and games from mid-March – mid-June (typically six days per week)
Collaborate with the Head Coach/Coaching staff in the creation of practice plans and conditioning programs for the pitchers in the program
Reports to : Head Baseball Coach
