VCSU Student Employee for Athletics

Position Information

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only VCSU students are eligible to be hired in this position. This position is subjected to North Dakota Veteran's Preference requirements. 

Title : VCSU Student Employee for Athletics

Department : Athletics

Reports to : Steve Olson

Position Summary:

As a student assistant in the department of Athletics, your primary role is to support the VCSU game day activities and the athletic department. The ideal candidate will be able to work 5-10 hours every other week, mostly nights and weekends during home games, and should have some working knowledge of athletics. However, we are willing to train the right candidates. The amount of hours will vary based on how many home events are held each week. Students may be asked to run scoreboard, game clock, shot clock, stat call, fill out the scorebook, run video camera, oversight of video replay, or other similar duties on game day. 

Students will also have opportunities to work Barnes County basketball tournaments along with District/Regional tournament games.
