Job Description

This position reports directly to the Head Men’s Basketball Coach and isresponsible for leading assigned areas of video and film operation efforts for the university’s men’s basketball program.

Vanderbilt University’s Athletics Department prepares student-athletes to become leaders and champions in life by placing the highest values on integrity, character, sportsmanship and victory. Vanderbilt is a charter member of the Southeastern Conference and is the conference's only private school. The university fields 17 varsity teams, 15 of which compete in the Southeastern Conference.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee assigned daily functions of video/film operations in the Men’s Basketball office
  • Coordinate film exchange with opponents
  • Prepare video content for cut-ups, breakdown and distribution to the Men’s Basketball staff
  • Oversee any designated student managers assisting with filming and video support
  • Maintain video servers and related equipment
  • Create video content upon request for recruiting and promotional purposes
  • Assist with production of team intro videos, social media clips, and SEC Network content
