SUMMARY Provides practice and game day training support.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. - Practices - Show up 30 min early for practice - Prepare heat for players who needs - Assist in stretching players per request from coach and direction from the head Athletic Trainer - Tape players at the direction of the head Athletic Trainer - Assist in application of braces, compression sleeves, and other protective gear - Be present at the end of practice with Ice and tape removal - Put away training suppliesand clean up training room

• Games

  • Show up 45 min early for games
  • Fill and transport water and ice for both teams
  • Prepare heat for players who needs
  • Assist in stretching players per request from coach and direction from the head Athletic Trainer
  • Tape players at the direction of the head Athletic Trainer
  • Assist in application of braces, compression sleeves, and other protective gear
  • Be present at the end of Game with Ice and tape removal
  • Put away training suppliesand clean up training room
  • Assist with set up before game and take down after game
  • Clean up

• ALL POSITIONS:

  • CELL PHONES SHOULD NOT BE USED WHILE WORKING UNLESS IT IS WORK RELATED
  • Keep your work area clear of people hanging around

SUPERVISION: - Received: Receives direct supervision from the Department Trainer, Office Manager, Athletic Director, and Compliance Coordinator.

QUALIFICATIONS - Worker must be able to lift 40 lbs.
