Individual will perform basic emergency medical techniques in the care and treatment of patrons, spectators, staff, performers and others who become ill or injured while participating in performing and sporting events at the Dee Events Center and Stewart Stadium. In addition, individual may occasionally be requested to consult or participate at other special events held on the WSU campus requiring medical services.
Basic EMT and Current AHA CPR Certifications required. Respond to medical emergencies by providing general aspects of basic patient care at the level of a first responder. Position requires attendance at special and sporting events which are held on various days and times (hours are not consistent). Obtain records and keep confidential patient information. Respond to emergencies appropriately under stressful situations and make immediate and sound medical decisions.
Advanced certificates training and experience preferred.
