The following are the functions essential to performing this job:

• Recruitment: Assist in identifying, evaluating, and recruiting talented student-athletes to join the women's soccer program.
• Training: Collaborate with the Head Coach to develop and implement training sessions and conditioning programs to enhance the team's performance.
• Game Preparation: Assist in scouting opponents, analyzing game footage, and developing game strategies.
• Player Development: Provide individualized coaching and feedback to student-athletes to improve their skills and performance.
• Duties: Assist with administrative tasks, including scheduling, travel arrangements, budget management, and compliance with NCAA regulations.
• Academic Support: Support the academic success of student-athletes, monitoring their progress and providing resources for academic support.
• Engagement: Participate in community outreach activities, promoting the women's soccer program and fostering positive relationships with alumni, donors, and the community Required Knowledge. Skills and Abilities

• Soccer Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge and experience in soccer, including coaching techniques, game strategies, and player development.
• Recruitment Skills: Ability to identify and recruit talented student-athletes to the university's women's soccer program.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with student-athletes, colleagues, and stakeholders.
• Skills: Strong leadership and mentoring abilities to guide and motivate student-athletes.
• Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills to manage schedules, travel arrangements, and administrative tasks.
• Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build positive relationships with student-athletes, staff, alumni, donors, and the community.
• Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of NCAA regulations and university policies related to athletics

Qualification Standards

Education: Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree required; previous coaching experience preferred
