The Naval Academy Athletic Association (NAAA), founded in 1891, is a nonprofit organization whose objective is to "promote, influence, and assist in financing the varsity athletic programs of the midshipmen of the United States Naval Academy" in accordance with the policy of the Superintendent of the Academy. Through an intercollegiate athletics program that is one of the largest in the country, every midshipman is afforded the opportunity to compete in athletics at the Division I level. The emphasis on physical fitness is borne out in the first line of the mission of the U.S. Naval Academy: To develop midshipmen morally, mentally and physically.

The Navy Rugby women’s recruiting and administrative coordinator is responsible for the recruiting, managing, operations, and administration for the recruiting of the candidates for the women’s rugby program within the policies and procedures of the Naval Academy and NAAA. Navy Rugby practices and competes during the fall and spring seasons. With a proven 60-year record of winning, the Naval Academy Rugby program has established itself as a Nationally recognized program. The Recruiting Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the Director of Rugby and the Women’s Head Coach to ensure the success of the Naval Academy Women’s rugby program by identifying, recruiting, and cultivating relationships with high school athletes, club players, candidates and coaches. This position requires a dynamic, results-driven individual who can balance recruiting, relationship management, and program development while maintaining the high standards of the Naval Academy. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the unique nature of the Naval Academy, rugby, recruiting practices and a passion for developing student-athletes both on and off the field for a career in the Naval Service.
