Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach – Part Time
The Women’s Soccer program has an opening for a part-time Assistant Coach who will assist the
head coach with recruiting, game operation, player development, fundraising and will monitor the
program’s budget and coordinate team travel.
Experience and Education requirements:
• High School graduate or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 1 year of school or club soccer playing or coaching experience; collegiate level preferred
• Strong financial skills preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of soccer skills, techniques and game strategies
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid Driver’s license and insurable by Brescia insurance

Responsibilities are, but not limited to:
• Assist the head women’s soccer coach with all aspects of the Women’s Soccer program,
including recruiting, practice planning and implementation, game preparation, budgeting,
scheduling, marketing, fundraising, player development, and team travel.
• Support the head coach with evaluation of prospective student-athletes through scouting,
tournaments, showcases, camps, recruiting visits, and other recruiting events.
• Plan, organize, and implement training activities and drills that enhance player
performance, team development, and competitive success.
• Assist with match preparation, game strategy development, opponent scouting, and game-
day coaching responsibilities.
• Assist in identifying, developing, and implementing fundraising initiatives that support
program needs and enhance financial sustainability.
• Monitor expenditures and provide monthly variance reports for expenses exceeding budget
projections by $500 or more.
• Assist Head Coach with monitoring student-athlete academic progress, class attendance,
conduct, and eligibility.
• Under the direction of the head coach will ensure compliance with all University, River
States Conference, NAIA, and departmental rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Assist with the management of the program budget and help ensure fiscal responsibility
and adherence to departmental financial guidelines.
• Adhering to Brescia University, Rivers States Conference, NAIA, and any other appropriate
governing body policies and procedures
• Drive University vehicles and/or buses to and from competitions and team-related activities
while ensuring the safety and wellbeing of student-athletes and staff.
