Job Description

Hiram College invites applications for the position of Women’s Soccer Graduate Assistant. The successful candidate will be actively involved in the recruitment, retention, and day-to-day operations of the Hiram College women’s soccer program. Hiram College is a member of the North Coast Athletic Conference and NCAA Division III.

Responsibilities : Duties will include, but not be limited to: assisting the head coach with all facets of training, recruiting, and retention for the Hiram College women’s soccer program. The successful candidate will also gain experience in supporting the head coach with planning and supervising practice, as well as potentially sideline coaching at competitions. This is a two-year position starting August 1, 2024.

Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree and the ability to be accepted into our Graduate Program(s) is required. Prior experience as a collegiate soccer player (previous coaching experience is desirable.) Exceptional attention to detail, well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with all persons regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, and physical challenges. Applicant must demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented office environment and interact in a positive manner with students, faculty, staff, visitors, and the public.
