The Head Men’s Wrestling Coach position is a full-time, 10-month staff position which reports to the Director of Athletics. The head coach is responsible for all aspects of the men’s wrestling program, to include: creating and communicating the vision of a program seeking to reach unprecedented levels of success, attracting and retaining a highly supportive staff for assistance with implementation of the program vision, successfully organizing and implementing a comprehensive recruiting and retention plan, integrating the program into the campus community, developing a vibrant summer camp program, supervising practice and managing games, management of program budget, fundraising to support the program, and supporting student-athlete success in all areas of the student experience.
The Head Men’s Wrestling Coach will embrace the responsibility of building a program respected for its commitment to the mission and core values of Hiram College, while representing the program in accordance with NCAC, NCAA and institutional rules and regulations. Additional duties may include administrative roles, campus committee involvement and other duties as assigned.

Apply NowA Master’s Degree is preferred, while a Bachelor’s Degree is required. Three to Five years collegiate coaching, or head coaching experience preferred. Recruiting, Summer Camp / Club experience preferred. Collegiate wrestling experience preferred. Experience with both working with and advocating for a highly diverse population of student athletes. Finally, experience in developing or implementing student – athletic retention plans.
