Department of Athletics - Track and Field/Cross Country
Assists the Head Coach in determining the scope and purpose of the Track and Field/Cross Country program in addition with coaching the student-athletes. Assists with establishing and implementing recruiting, academic, athletic, and community service policies for student-athletes. Assists with the Track and Field/Cross Country summer camp. Maintains current skills and techniques in coaching, recruiting, training, and general management of a Division I-A intercollegiate sport program while adhering to Athletics Department, university, ACC, and NCAA rules and regulations.
Completes all administrative duties for the Track and Field/Cross Country offices to include but not limited to: general front office duties; travel arrangements/authorizations; generation of requisitions, receiving of purchase orders, managing p-card/t-card administrative tasks; updates and implement recruiting database; process ADF forms, IDRs and vendor profiles. Other duties assigned by Track and Field/Cross Country head coaches.

Assists in coordinates and management of all aspects of Track and Field/Cross Country clinics, coaches clinics and alumni events.

Position is responsible for keeping coaches informed weekly on status of budget and alerting coaching staffs and sport oversight administrator immediately if items are requested that are not budgeted.

Bachelor's degree and one year of coaching experience at the high school level or above. Successful experience as a graduate assistant or intern in an athletic program is acceptable for up to one year of the required experience.
Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
