The primary location of this position is on the main Cullowhee, NC campus.
The primary purpose of this position is to support the Head Coach in fostering player development and enhancing team performance through effective coaching and practice management. This role encompasses a significant focus on daily training and game situations, ensuring that athletes receive the guidance necessary for their growth. Additionally, the position involves critical operational responsibilities, including budget management, travel coordination, and logistical planning, which are essential for the smooth functioning of the basketball program. The individual will also contribute to scouting efforts, evaluating both prospective and current athletes, while remaining adaptable to undertake various other tasks as assigned by the Head Coach. Overall, this position is integral to the success of the team, balancing coaching, administrative duties, and strategic planning. Those serving in this position must comply with

, the Southern Conference, and university policies and regulations.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required. Master’s degree preferred. Collegiate coaching experience and demonstrated knowledge of
NCAA
rules and regulations required.
Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Master’s degree from accredited college or university.
Experience as player, coach, or support staff member of Division I college basketball team.
