ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Demonstrated knowledge of and adherence to all applicable NCAA and conference compliance rules and regulations
Ensure that all relevant institutional, conference, and NCAA rules and regulations are followed. Including, but not limited to student-athlete eligibility, recruiting, financial aid, scheduling, and academic progress.
Ensure compliance with all institutional, conference, and NCAA rules and regulations by student-athletes and sport-related staff.
Abides by NCAA Bylaws 10.1 and 11.1 regarding ethical conduct and the responsibility to positively contribute to a campus culture of NCAA rules compliance.
Promote academic excellence and graduation. Monitor academic progress, including study table and class attendance in coordination with athletic academic advisor.
Assist in preparing, leading, and executing practice and game plans for both championship and non-championship seasons.

Assist in Preparing, managing, and maximizing the program operating budgets with established fund-raising goals and sound financial practices.
Assist in maintaining or developing fundraising strategies through camps and/or clinics and/or lessons to support Lacrosse program operations.
Assist in coordinating annual giving, special events, naming opportunities, and/or specific campaigns for the Lacrosse program with the director for athletic development.
Assist in managing the Lacrosse program’s recruiting efforts of high-profile DII prospective student-athletes through phone calls, electronic correspondence, scouting, attending games, on campus and home visits, in accordance with NCAA rules and regulations.
Assist with schedules and practices, travel arrangements, practice schedule, facility use, equipment, and apparel.
Cultivate and maintain meaningful relationships with student-athlete women’s lacrosse alums
Participate in athletics department-initiated fund-raising, community service, and engagement programs, as assigned and/or coordinated by the Department of Athletics.
Participate in institutional professional development and training. Keep current with sport-related literature; serve on committees and attend clinics, conventions, and other meetings.
Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree.
Two years of relevant sport coaching or participation experience at the collegiate level or higher
Knowledge and understanding of NCAA rules and regulations.
Exceptional leadership skills.
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to work effectively in a diverse community.
Ability to handle and maintain confidential information.
Experience and ability to positively interact with a diverse campus community.
Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodations.
Willingness to travel nights and weekends.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Four years of relevant sport coaching or playing experience at the collegiate level or higher.
Recruiting experience at the collegiate level or higher.
Experience with tracking and maintaining budgets.
