POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Contract Administrator will provide expert level contract administration and management support functions for the Athletic Department related to revenue sharing agreements executed with student-athletes. This includes developing tracking systems, drafting agreements, leading execution of agreements, and ensuring fulfillment requirements of all contract terms are appropriately documented, tracked, communicated, and performed by all parties. This position will require independent judgment to be used in completing this and other complex tasks and projects.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Contract Administrator will report to the Senior Associate Athletic Director and will serve as a key member of the Athletic Department team that oversees both revenue sharing and Name Image and Likeness (NIL) agreements. The Contract Administrator will interface with internal and external constituents to ensure that all revenue share agreements are executed, processed, and administered a high level of attention to detail, comprehensive organizational skills and analytical ability.
Work cross-functionally with delegates from sport programs that are engaged in revenue sharing with student-athletes to ensure effective, accurate and consistent workflow.
Develop and maintain a tracking system that will effectively and accurately track the status and fulfillment requirements of all contracts.
Recommend, develop and utilize contracting management system tools to ensure accurate and timely contract fulfillment.
Develop, implement, and maintain policies, standards, and procedures to comply with all applicable regulations, rules, and laws.
Prepare and distribute internal communication regarding revenue share contract status, payment fulfillment requirements, and other needed detail on a daily and weekly basis in compliance with department, University, Conference, NCAA and other state and federal law requirements.
Conduct regular internal audits to ensure ongoing compliance and manage regulatory risk. Track and analyze data related to trends and changes; develop and recommend data-based process improvements for contract management and compliance.
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding compliance issues and regulatory updates.
Develop solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors.
Prioritize being educated and well-informed with updated and innovative knowledge of standard business practices related to contract management techniques and standards.
Assist the Revenue Share Manager and the Executive Director of NIL in preparing for, and taking part in negotiations, meetings, and responding to questions from student-athletes and their representatives.
Support fulfillment, payment and ad-hoc information requests from internal and external stakeholders.

Within established guidelines, respond to requests for information and for copies of documents, statutes, and cases, and answers general questions regarding revenue share agreements.
Assist with other duties as assigned. Effectively adapt practices and work to conform to changing landscape in the student-athlete revenue share space.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree and two to three years of business contract management related experience.
Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Strong management skills, including effectively managing multiple priorities.
Excellent critical thinking, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Advanced degree in contract management field; and/or completion of a nine-month paralegal program plus one year experience as a paralegal; or two to three years’ experience as a paralegal focused on contract administration or management.
