Job Summary:
The Director of Creative Content & Branding, Women’s Basketball will serve as the women’s basketball Director of Creative Content & Branding. This position is responsible for the direction, promotion, and growth of The University of Tulsa Women’s Basketball brand. This role will oversee the primary responsibility/management of the primary Women’s Basketball social media outlets including but not limited to twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.

Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
Develop graphic design collateral for external units to utilize for digital and printed purposes. Collateral will be expected to grow the visibility and brand for The University of Tulsa Women’s Basketball program
In-House Materials
– team collateral materials including but not limited to camp brochures, stationary, internal documents, team schedules, etc., will use working knowledge of the printing process, digital photography, videography, and techniques for use in motion graphics; supervises creative photo shoots of players.
Recruiting Materials
– Create compelling designs and infographics that effectively promote Tulsa Women’s Basketball; create and organize a working system to produce recruiting materials and the resources needed; design mailings, social media, and personal recruiting campaigns
Gameday / Community Material
– Oversee photographs of the game day atmosphere; capture and collect content during games and outreach in the Tulsa Community to use for recruiting, marketing, social platforms, and coaching staff materials
Manage and direct all content for the women’s basketball department’s primary social media sites including the creation and implementation of yearly social media strategies, plans; consistent with Athletic Department messaging.
Attend regular meetings as directed by the Creative Director for Athletics and/or Head Women’s Basketball coach
Collaborate with communications, marketing, and external staffs to ensure content follows departmental brand standards and is regularly updated on department’s main social media accounts, while regularly engaging with fans on social media
Attention to detail of the personal branding and expectation of the TU Women’s Basketball Program
Excellent communication skills to coaches and staff during peak recruiting, gamedays, and season as a whole
Perform other duties as assigned or expected by the Head Women’s Basketball coach.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
2 years of relevant experience
Experience with InDesign, Photoshop and After Effects
Exceptional design skills
Strong creative skills to further enhance the department’s brand
Strong collaborative skills to work with other departmental creative positions
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with all Adobe Creative Suite platforms is a plus
Work requires unusual and/or demanding time/travel commitment during recruitment and pre/post-season
