Development Officer (UP17/61122500/ PCLS-202400207). Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. Normal work hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Travel, irregular hours including nights, weekends and some holidays. Must be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs of the university.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Serves as a primary development officer for the CAF. Works closely with the Executive Director in all aspects to develop and implement strategic plans for raising money in support of University Athletic initiatives. Plans and coordinates with the Executive Director on all fund-raising initiatives with special focus on premium seating and parking, priority points system, capital campaigns, scholarships, and Leadership giving with a focus on 5 and 6 figure gifts.
Independently prospects and manages through stewardship and cultivation a portfolio of 150 or more major and leadership gift donors and prospects for Athletics.
Creates, implements and maintains a new giving structure associated with Premium seating and parking.
Assists in the enlistment and participation with the CAF Board of Directors.
Assists in the planning and implementation of Chanticleer Athletic Foundation special events, including game-day hospitality, the annual CAF Gala, and “Meet the Coaches” events.
Required: Bachelor’s degree. A minimum of three years proven success record in fund-raising or outside sales.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of how to use The Raiser’s Edge/NXT and PacFund databases. Must have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, CRM database, proficient in excel, word, Adobe suite.
