Job Description

This position is responsible for identifying and addressing the needs of the Vanderbilt Football student-athletes in the areas of personal development and community involvement.

Vanderbilt University’s Athletics Department prepares student-athletes to become leaders and champions in life by placing the highest values on integrity, character, sportsmanship and victory. Vanderbilt is a charter member of the Southeastern Conference and is the conference's only private school.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing a plan to increase the efficiency in every aspect of our program and specifically in thedevelopment of our student-athletes
  • Serve as the football point of contact for various support staff areas within the athletics department as assigned
  • Coordinate with various departments on the freshman and first-time Vanderbilt student-athlete transition processes
  • Work with the Student-Athlete Development office to identify possible community service opportunities and coordinate logistics for all scheduled community service projects
  • Maintain the continual growth of the Vanderbilt Football brand
  • Comply with NCAA and SEC rules and regulations
  • Complete all other tasks as assigned by the head coach, Chief of Staff, and/or athletic administration
