Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

• Organize scout cards and scripts for practice/walk-thru
• Goal line study expert
• Research and prepare scouting reports on opponents, including but not limited to depth chart, statistics, and analytics
• Game day duties, including but not limited to play chart, analyzing and recording tendencies, and data input
• Scout personnel for head coach
  • Advise on recruiting needs
  • Advise on how to upgrade at each position
  • Advise on needed position changes
• Analytic responsibilities
  • Opponent: prepare and present statistical data on opponents as directed by Offensive Coordinator
  • Self-Scout: Prepare and present statistical data regarding Vanderbilt offense as directed by Offensive Coordinator
• Game plan opponent breakdown & self-scout
• Playbook assembly and distribution
• Assist with the execution of unofficial and official recruiting visits as requested
• Fully comply with NCAA, AFCA, and SEC ethics and procedures
• Any additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree is necessary.
• Previous college football experience is necessary.
