The Senior Associate Athletics Director for Development and Alumni Engagement is charged with strategic oversight of Nevada’s athletics fundraising and alumni engagement program. This role will develop and execute a strategic plan to inspire new levels of engagement, commitment, and philanthropic support from alumni, parents, and friends, including growth in annual unrestricted, capital, and restricted gifts to support Athletics priorities. This role serves as a member of the athletics leadership and executive teams. This position leads numerous units and manages several employees. This position acts as a liaison to the campus community and specifically the university foundation.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree and five (5) years of related professional work experience; OR a Master’s Degree and three (3) years of related professional work experience.

Related Experience:

• Substantial fundraising experience which includes demonstrable experience with individuals in either a higher education, athletic development operation, sales team, or other profession that required the candidate to uncover prospects, make outreach, and meet face-to-face to cultivate and solicit prospects
