Job Description

Nevada Football is recruiting for an Assistant Coach. Assistant Coaches assist the Head Football Coach in assigned aspects of the Division I program, complying with university, conference and NCAA rules and regulations. They are responsible for practice and game coaching, the recruitment and retention of student-athletes, scheduling, team travel, mentorship of student athletes, and academic integrity. Assistant coaches may supervise specific areas of the day to day operations of the athletic team (quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers, offensive lineman, defensive lineman, linebackers, etc.) and coordinates game day preparation and on-field activities as directed by the Head Football Coach.

In addition to the above duties, the higher level Assistant Coach, may supervise other football coaches.

Required Qualifications

Comp Grade B – Assistant Coach, Football

Bachelor’s Degree and two years of related work experience and/or playing experience

Master’s Degree and one year of related work experience and/or playing experience
