Departmental Overview
To develop, and produce multimedia content for all Cal Football’s digital media platforms. This will include conceptualization, planning, videography, editing, and overall production of engaging video content for the team’s digital properties.

Responsibilities
Coordinate, plan, and produce video content for all Cal Football digital video platforms related to recruiting athletes, media relations, donor events, and other Cal Football sponsored events.
Collaborate with football recruiting staff, Athletic Creative Services and Media Relations to ensure synergy between all parties. Includes attending and participating in content planning and strategic meetings.
Coordinate live content creation via social media channels during games and team events.
Archive, database, and maintain storage of all video and related content
Maintain, troubleshoot, and diagnose problems with video equipment used in video production.
Adhere to brand identity and guidelines of Cal Athletics.
Required Qualifications
Thorough knowledge of program activity and best practices.
Problem-solving skills; multi-task, work with frequent interruptions, and effective listener.
Highly effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
Proficiency in the use of basic computer applications relevant to job duties.
Education/Training:
Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.

Under California law, the University of California, Berkeley is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role and should not offer a salary outside of the range posted in this job announcement. This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, analysis of internal equity, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience.
The budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is $55,000.00 - $65,000.00.
This is a 12-month, 100%, full-time (40 hours per week), 1 year contract position that is eligible for full UC benefits with the possibility of extension.
This position is exempt and paid monthly.
