Job Summary

The Athletic Training Assistant position in Sports Medicine is responsible for working with the Athletic Trainers to provide physical examinations for Student Athletes; assisting with providing rehabilitation services in such a manner that Student-Athletes will miss the least time necessary; assisting the team physician and specialist to provide necessary medical services; and assisting in the out-patient physical therapy clinic which serves the public.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree from a CAATE-accredited Athletic Training Program. Active BOC Certification. Current CPR & AED Certified Eligible for Alabama Athletic Training Licensure.

Preferred Qualifications

Will this position require driving (personal vehicle, university vehicle, utility vehicle, or golf cart) in order to perform the job duties?

Driving may be necessary but is not a primary responsibility
