Departmental Overview UC Berkeley University Health Services (UHS) is a fully accredited, comprehensive campus-based health center providing primary and urgent medical care, counseling and psychological services, ancillary services such as radiology, pharmacy and laboratory, and innovative health promotion programs for students, faculty, and staff. UHS maintains on-campus medical and mental health care at main clinics located within the Tang Center and two satellite clinics for intercollegiate athletics (IA) through Cal Sports Medicine at Simpson Center and Haas Pavilion; off-campus care is coordinated by clinics through a referral process within a network of community specialists and hospitals. In addition, UHS administers a major medical insurance plan, Student Health Insurance, for the general student population, as well as third-party plans for intercollegiate athletes.
