The CRM Manager reports to the Assistant Athletic Director for Revenue Generation and is responsible for leading the development of one-to-one digital relationships with Husky Fans. This position will carry out three primary daily functions: 1) developing actionable insights as a data strategist, 2) leading sales enablement and demand generation efforts, and 3) mapping all stages of the customer journey while defining metrics to determine their relative health. The combination of those efforts will allow the CRM Manager to advance all revenue-related initiatives and ensure the continued growth of the UW fan base. Responsibilities – Assist the UW Husky Athletics and Conference sales teams in preparation, coordination, and implementation of the department’s outreach campaigns. Develop and manage the demand generation pipeline with a specific emphasis on marketing qualified leads (MQLs) across multiple platforms (Paciolan, Salesforce, Salesloft, SSB, etc.). Establish best practices around CRM tools and processes, drive adoption and optimization, and ensure value to our business and client experience across our overall organization. Support the Email Marketing Manager, when necessary, in executing all aspects of our digital campaigns, including audience segmentation, copywriting, design, and analysis. Create new strategies related to the expansion of first-party data collection flowing into our CRM system through a variety of methods (form submissions, tracking scripts, etc.). Manage Salesforce APIs with applications including Salesloft and Vozzi. Lead regular training sessions with relevant teams to expand awareness of insights related to product marketing initiatives. Ensure quality of data flows to and from the Affiniaquest/SSB Data Warehouse. Work with the E-Commerce Manager to identify leakages in the sales funnel. Assist sales and marketing by brainstorming new creative initiatives to drive revenue and attendance. Other duties as assigned. Compliance with the rules and regulations of the University, the NCAA, the Conference, the State of Washington and any other governing body is of paramount importance to the University. The overall responsibility of this position is for the successful operation of the program in full compliance with all such rules and regulations. As a condition of employment, the Employee shall be required to participate in rules education programs offered by the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. Minimum Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university and four years of experience in a data-driven industry or job function, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field. Strong strategy, project management, and organizational skills, as well as a consumer insights and data analytics background. Experience implementing and utilizing CRM solutions (Dynamics 365 CRM, Salesforce, or comparable software). Experience utilizing digital marketing and analytics platforms to access and manage reporting (i.e. Eloqua, Google Analytics, Tableau). High Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.). Proficiency with SQL or similar database querying language. Strong public/community relations and customer service skills. Desired: Experience with Ticketmaster and Paciolan ticketing systems preferred.
