Director of Development of Internal Relations and Annual Giving Coastal Carolina University is currently accepting applications for the following position: Director of Development of Internal Relations and Annual Giving in the Chanticleer Athletic Foundation. Duties include, but are not limited to:· Serves as a primary Impact Fund development officer for the CAF. Works closely with the Executive Director in all aspects to develop and implement strategic plans for raising money in support of University Athletic initiatives;· Plans and coordinates with the Executive Director on all fund-raising initiatives with special focus on capital campaigns, scholarships, and annual gifts;· Develop and advance a robust portfolio of athletics prospects. Leverage face-to-face meetings, phone calls, emails, and other contacts to build relationships and increase support from prospects and current donors;· Devise innovative opportunities for engaging donors and prospects; develop creative pathways for transitioning from annual to leadership giving, and strategies to identify prospective donors to become leadership donors;· Work closely with athletic staff and administration, CAF staff and Director of Alumni and Engagement with the goal of increasing dollars raised and the number of donors to the CAF Impact Fund;· Responsible for creating and delivering compelling content that engages all internal CCU employees and strengthens the message of the Chanticleer Athletic Foundation; and· Independently devise, create and implement annual fundraising initiatives targeted at internal constituents, including but not limited to athletic staff, CCU faculty and staff and students. Requirements: A bachelor’s degree and related experience in revenue generation and business strategy is required. Preferred candidate will have related revenue generating experience, knowledge of higher education inner workings and proven ability to work with multiple entities with varying interests. Salary range for this position is $60,000.00 – $68,000.00 Normal work hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Friday, 8:00 am to 12:30 pm. Must be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs of the university. This position will include significant collaboration with on-campus partners and will include evening and weekend work.
A bachelor’s degree and related experience in revenue generation and business strategy.
Preferred candidate will have related revenue generating experience, knowledge of higher education inner workings and proven ability to work with multiple entities with varying interests.
Must have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. This person must have a passion for collegiate athletics and the student-athletes we serve. Must possess an energetic and outgoing personality. Highly motivated, reliable and team-member oriented.
