Job Description

Nevada Athletics is recruiting for an Executive Director, Scouting and Player Personnel for Nevada Football. The Executive Director of Scouting and Player Personnel serves as a strategic leader within Nevada Football, providing critical support in player evaluation, recruiting operations, and roster management. This position works directly with the Head Football Coach to implement the vision for the program and oversee personnel and recruiting staff. The Executive Director is tasked with assessing the current roster, identifying player personnel needs, and scouting potential talent from high schools, junior colleges, and the transfer portal. This position involves analyzing player tapes and cultivating strong relationships with coaches, NFL scouts and other key stakeholders in talent acquisition. The Executive Director offers strategic roster recommendations to the Head Coach, ensuring Nevada Football effectively recruits, develops, and retains the best available talent.  

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree and four (4) years of related professional work experience; OR a Master’s Degree and two (2) years of related professional work experience.

Related Experience: Experience in analyzing player data at various levels;

Previous experience in football, either as a player, coach, or scout.
