Student Volunteers are essential to the day-to-day operations of Nevada Athletics. Student Volunteers will assist the Athletic Trainers with hydration and coverage of practices and games and help with treatments/rehabilitation. Job Description

The University of Nevada, Reno’s Athletics and Nevada Football Sports Medicine Department is hiring multiple Student Volunteer positions. Student Volunteers are essential to the day-to-day operations of Nevada Athletics. Student Volunteers will assist the Athletic Trainers with hydration and coverage of practices and games and help with treatments/rehabilitation. Student Volunteers will be utilized by the Athletic Trainers in the best way they see fit that will best help the football program.

Responsibilities

• Provide hydration at practices, games, and workouts

• Maintain duties of the Athletic Training Room

• Assist with treatments and rehabilitation plans for athletes

• Perform therapeutic modalities, soft tissue techniques and wound care

• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Candidate must be enrolled at the University of Nevada, Reno as a full-time student

• Candidate must follow all University, NCAA, Mountain West Conference and team rules

Preferred Qualifications

• Work Study students are encouraged to apply
