Rech Joins Lacrosse as New Assistant Coach

KENT, Ohio – The Kent State women's lacrosse team announced on Monday the addition of Sarah Rech to the team as a new assistant coach. Rech joins head coach Brianne Tierney's staff as the third assistant coach for the Flashes, alongside Amanda Glass and Allison Kortowich. Rech is a graduate of the University of Akron, where she received a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing in 2023 and a graduate certificate in strategic leadership in 2024. At Akron, she was a five-year member of the school's lacrosse team, serving as a team captain and starting all 16 games for the Zips in 2024 as a graduate student.
