Jay Hill Named U-M's Lester Family Defensive Coordinator
University of Michigan's J. Ira and Nicki Harris Family Head Football Coach Kyle Whittingham announced Friday (Jan. 2) the hiring of Jay Hill as the program's Lester Family Defensive Coordinator. Hill joins the Wolverines staff after spending the last three seasons as the defensive coordinator at BYU (2023-25).

The University of Michigan's Donald R. Shepherd Director of Athletics Warde Manuel announced Friday (Dec. 26) the hiring of Kyle Whittingham as the 22nd head football coach in the 146-year history of the Michigan program. Whittingham signed a five-year contract with the Wolverines that runs through the 2030 season.
