Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach
.
The individual in this position is responsible for assisting the Assistant Athletic Director for Olympic Sports Performance with designing and implementing yearly athletic performance training plans for athletic teams as assigned.

Provide year-round sport-specific strength and conditioning program for Division I intercollegiate sports with Olympic Sports teams.
Work closely with the Strength and Conditioning staff to develop comprehensive strength and conditioning program for all sports programs.
Assist fellow staff members in the daily operations, scheduling, and maintenance of strength and conditioning facilities.
Design and implement a comprehensive strength and conditioning programming as related to injury prevention and performance enhancement.
Regularly attend practice & competitions for assigned sports.
Maintain consistent, direct communication with Sports Medicine, Team Physician, and additional medical staff regarding injury modification and return to play athletes rehabilitation during workouts and practices.
Regular attendance at practice and competition for assigned sport, assisting in areas most needed,
Ability and willingness to gain and maintain working knowledge of university,
SEC
, and
NCAA
rules and regulations while encouraging and promoting excellence in academics and life-skills among student-athletes.
